...the last of Tennessee roadtrip blogging!
David took me to some REALLY AWESOME PLACES in Tennessee, which were HARDCORE.
Sheepishly-taken cell phone pictures location #1: CRAAAZY Arts & Crafts Store (aka Hobby Lobby)
SHINY!!!!!!!!
Sheepishly-taken cell phone pictures location #2:Tractor Supply Company
Can I just say that it thrills me that there even exists a place called "Tractor Supply Company"? Just the concept of it is badass!

Grits & crumble for your pet poultry!

Deer cane! (?) !! And giant block of food for deers! Lol it's a tad futuristic, no? Reminds me of those nutrition blocks that Mal had to sell to the cowboy lady on Firefly.. But I'm just trying to imagine a deer sauntering up and being like "HRM a giant brown BRICK, i will nibble this!" and carrying it back to its Bambi den with its antlers.

And wtf is "Calf-Manna"?? I have the funniest vision of a farmer climbing onto a barn rooftop and dropping this stuff through a hole so that it rains down on the calfs inside...
ANYWAY!
Sadly, we had to leave this wonderful southern world of hobbies and tractors and head back to NY. We took a short detour on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, a really curvey mountain road that ran parallel to the interstate (suggested by David's mom!). Gorgeous stuff, but added a lot to our travel time:
We also found a random rusty bridge, where David practiced his men's underwear model poses:
We also found some nifty authentic Virginia filial piety graffiti:
Now that is a real skilled work of art.
So because we both had work early the next morning, we ended up driving almost all on the interstates going back to NYC. Poor David was extremely tired. Watch the progression of David's mental health over time:
