So due to a complete lack of any good pictures on Serena's computer (which I am currently using) and a large level of laziness, I will now attempt to make 1 blog post about multiple cooking projects that we completed some time ago.
So first up we have desserts: peanut butter cake and some kind of chocolate chip caramel cookie squares.
The peanut butter cake was great (luckily since we made it for my birthday... only way late, if I remember correctly). We basically just took a yellow cake mix and made homemade peanut butter icing for it. The cake mix was Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe I think, so nothing out of the ordinary. And then we used the recipe on this page for the icing. As an added bonus there's a picture of 2 old ladies, one with a koala and one with what looks like a baby Kermit the Frog in a Santa Claus hat, on that page. Here's the cake:

As for the chocolate chip caramel cookie squares, we used this recipe. We only differed in the fact that we used Werther's Originals for caramels instead of their suggestion, as I could not find any other kind. They are also much more difficult to melt than it states, though I suppose that could have been because I used Werther's Originals but still....
Here's the picture of it cooking( and to make it even more exciting, the bag of caramels):
Next up we have pizza bagels of some sort. They are basically just bagels, spaghetti sauce, spinach, shredded mozzarella cheese, and maybe some garlic powder if I remember correctly. It was pretty tasty and a good use for bagels you might find lying around the kitchen or under the bed. Here's a larger picture:
So there was also this Spinach Quiche we made. It was a combination of this quiche and this crust
Here is the combo properly formatted:
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
3 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1/3 cup heavy cream
3 eggs
10 ounces fresh baby spinach, washed, drained and chopped
1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 green onions, sliced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Unroll one tube of the rolls; press dough onto the bottom and up the sides of a greased 9 in tart pan to form a crust.
In the bowl of a stand mixer (or a medium bowl), beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in cream and eggs. Mix in remaining ingredients. Pour mixture into prepared crust. Bake until crust is golden brown and filling is set, about 25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
And here would be the finished product:

And last of all, is some type of penne pasta with sundried tomatoes, carmelized onions, red paper flakes, chicken broth, olive oil, garlic, cheese, spinach, and some chicken pieces.
Honestly, I'm too lazy to give much detail on making it. I will tell you that it is based on this recipe Here is what it should look like before you throw it in with the pasta:
Doesn't look like much but it was good. And not a single one of these gave us food poisoning.
The end.
