New Years!

To get us partially back on track from David's egregious lack of blog posting, here is a happy New Years Eve post!  David is watching me type right now.  :P  And I'm being lazy because this blog post will be very short & simple due to my camera dying and lack of pictures.

So David, his friend Tracy, & I went to this warehouse party for New Years Eve: W&B Airlines because we enjoyed one of their parties in the past.  Here's us all ready to party hardy like good NYE revelers:

HOWEVER, a lot of folks wanted to go to the party apparently, so the line to get into the warehouse wrapped around most of the building, and at 12am, we ended up ringing in the new year in cobblestoned desolate warehouse district like this with hundreds of others:

This is how we feel about waiting in lines:

After we got in, the party was pretty fun.  Lots of wacky stuff ensued, like bouncing in a suspended helicopter, sitting in large bubbles watching colorful elephants stampede the capitol building, manhandling a paramedic, stealing a fake million dollar bill from China, hugging a glittery man, and moving aforementioned helicopter & stepping on a nail.

Only other pic in the warehouse...they had professional photographers trying to make us look like jetsetting tourists:

Plus, I got this sweet unicorn on my arm with a UV light-glowing star!

And then, we cuddled & went to sleep at dawn:

That was the truncated, all the good parts left out, story of New Years Eve.  You're welcome!  Happy new years :D
